As a non-hockey fan, but casual hockey observer I gotta say, that was pretty cool.
There should've been more replays of that sliding on his belly no-look shot. That was the shot of the year.
Keep posting Biff...you may make an active hockey observer of me yet.
Agreed about the goal where he's sliding on the ice (amongst us Capitals fans, we refer to it simply as The Goal), but I guess whoever made the thing figured that had already been replayed to death.
All I'm saying is that if I can grow to like and even enjoy soccer (Go Lilywhites!) then you, too, can become a hockey fan. Especially in a city where Alex Ovechkin is playing.

I was an NHL fan for one year (or more accurately, one playoff run). The year Gretzky got the Kings to the Finals (1993). But since I'm an LA fan, I can only root for a team when they're winning. No patience for the off years. (I kid. I've suffered through many an Angel and Raider season). I think Bruce McNall fucked up my hockey momentum more than anything.
That was an exciting postseason in LA.
